Dear Neighbors,
We want to make you aware of concerns that have been raised about possible vehicle congestion arising from a large boat parade for Trump supporters that will be occurring this Saturday, September 5.
Both assembly points for the event are off of Pine Island, one at the south end and one at the north. The staging time begins at 9:15 a.m.
We have reached out to the Gulf Shore District sheriff’s office, anticipating a problematic situation arising on Main Street, with incoming car and boat trailer traffic headed for the local marinas, including Bocilla Island Seaport.
Captain Timothy Lalor responded, acknowledging our concerns. If sheriff assistance is needed you may call 911 or 237-477-1000.

Dear Neighbors,
The Board of Directors is calling a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time via conference call.
The purpose of this Special Board Meeting is to discuss the application made by Bocilla Island Seaport to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, dated May 2019, to renovate its docks and reconfigure its existing submerged land lease. (The existing lease is currently effective for 54 total slips; the application does not seek to change that slip count.)
